BJ HAGEN
Baseball Instructor
BJ has coached youth baseball for the last 14years.Has given pitching/hitting/fielding lessons for the last 9 years. He played for 4 years at UNC Charlotte as a RHP where he was used for numerous roles. He played independently for the Traverse City Beach Bums of the Frontier League in 2009 and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Houston Astros in 2010. He graduated from UNC Charlotte in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in communications-Mass Media. He is originally from Richmond, Va.

Jorge Franco
Catching/Hitting Instructor
Jorge Franco is married, a father, a mentor, with more than 25 years of professional experience in the global baseball industry. His career spans roles as a professional player, scout, athletic director and coach within the Major League Baseball (MLB) minor league system, as well as in Colombia, the Caribbean and the United States.
With a Master's Degree in Business Administration with specialization in senior management of Sports Organizations and Education Based on Work Skills.
Jorge integrates advanced management principles with development methodologies for young and elite players. His experience includes talent identification, application of teaching-learning systems, and catching and hitting fundamentals and techniques.
He is recognized for creating disciplined, results-oriented programs that maximize athlete performance, accelerate competitive progression and prepare players for sustainable success at the highest levels of the game.

Jay Gause
Pitching/Hitting Instructor
Jay Gause is a former professional pitcher with an extensive background in high-level baseball and player development. A native of North Carolina, Gause first gained national recognition in high school when he earned High School All-American honors and was selected in the 25th round of the MLB Draft by the Cleveland Indians.
After high school, Gause continued his career at several respected college programs, including North Carolina State University, Walters State Community College, and Faulkner University, where he was eventually drafted during his junior season. He went on to play professional baseball as a pitcher in the Houston Astros organization.
During his professional career, Gause competed throughout Minor League Baseball as well as internationally, pitching in Venezuela and Puerto Rico. He also spent multiple seasons in independent professional baseball, including the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, facing high-level competition that included former and future Major League players.
Gause concluded his professional playing career in 2021. Since then, he has dedicated his time to developing young athletes and helping the next generation of players reach their potential. He has served as a youth director and coach within several travel baseball organizations, including the Carolina Revolution, and has spent the past several years training players throughout the Charlotte area.
